Privacy Policy

Last Updated: October 21, 2025

Welcome to pipsgames.online! This policy explains the types of data we collect, how we use it, and the options you have regarding your data.

Who We Are

Website: https://pipsgames.online

This site offers a browser-based logic puzzle game. We prioritize privacy and minimize data collection. The structure of this policy is inspired by the public Pips Game policy, adapted for our website.

What Data We Collect & Why

1) Feedback / Contact

If you send us feedback (e.g., through an in-game form), we process the information you provide—typically your message and, if you choose, your email address—to respond and improve the game. We do not use this information for marketing.

2) Analytics (Minimal)

We may use privacy-respecting analytics to track general usage (e.g., pages viewed, device/browser info, basic engagement). If we use Google Analytics, it relies on cookies and may process anonymized IP data to generate usage reports. You can opt out using Google's browser add-on. We implement IP masking where applicable.

3) Cookies & Local Storage

To enhance your experience, we use cookies and/or your browser’s local storage to remember settings like difficulty, sound preferences, or your last puzzle state. This data remains on your device unless otherwise stated. Clearing your browser data will remove it.

4) Game Data (On-Device)

Your puzzle progress, current board, preferred difficulty, and basic session stats are stored locally in your browser. We do not sync this to our servers unless we explicitly add such a feature and update this policy.

Share / Social Features

We plan to add an optional "Share your result" button that creates a social card (e.g., level ID, difficulty, time, and a star rating). Our intent is to generate this on your device. If we later support uploading images or results to a server, we will update this section and explain what is stored and for how long. (Feature in development.)

Embedded Content & Third-Party Services

Pages may include third-party elements (e.g., social buttons or analytics). These services may set cookies or observe interactions according to their own policies. Please review their privacy terms if you interact with them. Potential services include website analytics providers, feedback form processors, and—if enabled—advertising networks.

Data Retention

Feedback: We keep your messages (and any voluntarily provided contact details) for as long as needed to support you and improve the game.

On-device game data: This data remains in your browser until you clear it.

Your Rights

If you have submitted personal information (e.g., via feedback) and wish to have it erased, please contact us via the email provided below. We may retain certain records where required by law or for security purposes.

Children's Privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal data, please contact us immediately so that we can delete it.

International Transfers

If we use third-party analytics (e.g., Google Analytics), some data may be processed on servers outside your country. Please refer to the provider's privacy practices for more details and opt-out options.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as we add features (e.g., sharing or server-side saving) or change providers. We will update the "Last Updated" date and, where appropriate, provide in-app notice.

Contact Us

If you have any questions or requests, please email us or reach out through the in-game feedback link.

Notes on Sources Used

The structure and concepts (feedback handling, analytics cookies, local storage, retention, children's privacy, embedded services) are adapted from the public Pips Game policy to fit our website and feature set.

References to Google Analytics usage, IP masking, and the opt-out add-on follow the approach described in the Pips Game policy.
